Tube support and intermediate plates cut to spec, deburred flat and clean so they slide into the bundle without rework.
Support plates hold the tube bundle straight along its length, preventing tube sag and flow-induced vibration in long exchangers. Unlike baffles, they are not there to direct flow — their job is purely structural — but the hole pattern still has to match the tube layout exactly, or the bundle will not assemble.
A support plate with rough holes is a support plate that scores tubes on the way in. We deslag every surface and deburr every hole so your bundle stacks up straight and slides together clean.
Heat exchanger and pressure vessel manufacturers, refinery and petrochemical maintenance shops, and OEM equipment builders across the Gulf Coast and the United States rely on Roosevelt Steel Co. for support plates that fit the first time.

Support plates are structural, so fit and edge quality matter more than looks. The high-powered laser delivers both:
Send the print as a DXF, DWG, or PDF and hear back promptly. Working from an old hand-drawn print or a marked-up photocopy? Send that too — we convert hand drawings to CAD in house. MTRs are available on request.
